We will get things wrong. The measure of a publication is not whether that happens but what it does next.

How to report something

Tell us what page it is, what is wrong, and — if you have it — where the correct information is. Reports about codes that have stopped working are especially useful and go straight into the next check for that game.

What happens to a report

• A factual error is corrected as soon as it is confirmed, and the article gets a dated note saying what was wrong and what changed.
• A code that no longer works is re-checked. If we confirm it, its status changes to expired with the date, and it stays visible on the page.
• Something that has since changed — a game update that invalidated advice — is treated as an update rather than a correction, and the article's updated date moves.
• A ranking you disagree with is not a correction. It may still be a good argument, and we would like to hear it, but the criteria are published so that disagreement can be specific.

What we do not do

• Quietly edit an article to fix a factual error without saying so.
• Delete an article to make a mistake disappear.
• Change a published date so a corrected article looks new.
