Genshin Impact codes: how redemption works
How to redeem a Genshin Impact code on the official page, what we will and will not publish here, and why this list is currently empty.

Genshin Impact codes are redeemed through an official page run by the game's publisher rather than inside the app. The process is short, and the failure modes are almost always regional or time-based rather than anything you did.

Last checked by a person:
That check found nothing new. We update this date whether or not we find anything.
No verified codes right now
We have not redeemed a working code for Genshin Impact ourselves, so there is nothing to list. We do not copy code lists from other sites — that is how expired codes spread.
How to redeem
- Open the official redemption page. Go to genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/gift (opens in a new tab). This is HoYoverse's own page — do not enter codes on a third-party site that asks you to sign in.
- Sign in to the account you play on. Redemption applies to the account you are signed in as, not to the device you are using. If you play on more than one account, check which one you are signed into before continuing.
- Select your server. The page asks which server your account is on. A code redeemed against the wrong server does not reach your character.
- Enter the code exactly as written. Codes are usually case-sensitive and often contain characters that are easy to confuse, so pasting is safer than typing.
- Check in-game for the rewards. Rewards from a successful redemption are delivered to the account rather than appearing on the redemption page.
Codes are frequently region-locked, single-use per account, and time-limited. A code that does not work for you has usually expired or was never valid for your region — it does not necessarily mean you did something wrong.
Found a code here that no longer works? Tell us and we will re-check it. Our full approach is in the codes policy.
Why this list is empty
Most code pages you will find are assembled by copying other code pages. That is why they agree with each other, why they are frequently wrong, and why so many of them list codes that stopped working weeks ago.
We publish a code once a person here has redeemed it on a real account and recorded the date they did it. Nobody has done that yet, so there is nothing to show. The date above tells you when we last looked, and it will keep updating whether or not we find anything — a check that turns up nothing is still a check, and it is the more common result.
Getting codes to work
- Check the region. Codes are often restricted to particular servers or regions, and the same code can be valid for one and not another.
- Check the account. Redemption is tied to the signed-in account, which is easy to get wrong if you share a device.
- Paste rather than type. Case matters, and some codes mix characters that are hard to tell apart in most fonts.
- Expect a short life. Codes tied to a stream or an announcement often last hours rather than days.
If a code here stops working
Tell us and we will re-check it and update the status with the date. There is a link for exactly this at the bottom of every code list — a page that never marks anything expired is a page nobody is maintaining.

Editorial
The shared byline for work produced by more than one person, and for evergreen resources that are maintained over time rather than written once. Anything published under this profile has been researched against primary sources, written by a person, and read by a second person before it went live. Where an article depends on firsthand play, it carries an individual byline instead.

PhonePlayers is published alongside Clashest, Brawlest, Bloxism and Pokémonism, which are owned by the same people and are linked from this site where they are the better destination for live data. That is a commercial relationship and we say so on every page it appears. No publisher has supplied review access, hardware, currency or payment for any article currently published. There are no affiliate relationships in place today; if that changes, the affiliate disclosure page will say so before any affiliate link is published.
