Most store pages tell you very little. This one tells you something specific and easy to miss: Apple rates Call of Duty: Mobile 17+. Across the sixteen games in our directory, nothing else carries a rating that strict — the next tier down covers everything from battle royales to card games.
What the rating is actually about
It reflects realistic violence, in a military shooter, presented without stylisation. That is a straightforward content judgement and reasonable people land in different places on it.
The part the rating does not cover is the part that more often causes problems: this is a live multiplayer game with voice chat, and an age rating says nothing about who your child is talking to. That is a settings decision, and it is much easier made before the first session than after.
It is a demanding install
