Every genre has an implied session length. A card game is a few minutes; an idle game is seconds. A battle royale is the awkward case, because its session length is not fixed and not yours to choose: the match ends when you are eliminated, and playing well is precisely what makes it run longer.
Succeeding costs you more time
That inversion is worth sitting with before you install. A bad match is over quickly. A good one — the kind you install the game for — can run a long time, and the only way to end it early is to play badly on purpose or abandon teammates who are relying on you.
